I received my Undergraduate Degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota and Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Concordia University in 2010. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor through the State of Wisconsin. I have several years of experience providing therapeutic services in a variety of settings, including individual and family therapy in the Child and Adolescent Unit at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital where I provided intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programming to adults in a hospital setting, and provided in-home therapy to children with Autism.
My main focus is to provide support to parents with children with special needs or out of control behaviors. As a parent of a child with special needs, I understand the additional struggles parents face with a child with special needs or challenges. I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an empathetic approach. I have a true passion for supporting parents and families and providing a supportive environment to parents who face extreme challenges.
